Dallas Seattle

Is Dallas to Seattle in 3 days possible? One driver, One passenger & a pup?

I'm traveling with my wife and puppy this winter from Dallas to Seattle. Would you please suggest the best route to travel. I will be the only driver. I'm thinking of driving 10-12 hours per day.

Just a trip update:

It was less exhausting than I thought. I made it in 2 and a half days. We left Dallas the 1st day around 4PM to reach Salina, KS at about 10PM and stayed the first night there. On second day left Salina at around 7AM and reached Ogden, UT about 10PM to stay the second night. About 8AM left Ogden to reach Woodinville, WA that night around 7PM. We all made it safe. Planning the return trip Woodinville-> Portland-> San Jose-> Las Vegas-> Grand Canyon -> Albuquerque-> Dallas.

Possible but Claudia's right, it's gonna be very exhausting! Travelling with your adorable pup may make it less tiring though. :D

Hi Sid,
It's possible but tiring. Bear in mind, winter driving is different from the rest of the year, so it's best to avoid steep mountain roads and you must check the weather conditions before hitting the road.
I would suggest the following route:
Dallas to Albuquerque (about a 10-hour drive). Stay overnight at La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque West. It's a pet-friendly hotel close to I-40.
Albuquerque to Twin Falls , ID (about a 13-hour drive). Stay at the pet-friendly Comfort Inn and Suites Jerome-Twin Falls, close to I-84.
Twin Falls to Seattle (about a 10-hour drive).

Mentioned in this answer:

  1. Dallas (city)
  2. Albuquerque (city)
  3. Twin Falls (attraction)
  4. Seattle (city)

Really long drive vs flight.  Might as well fly if you arent wanting to visit places along the way. Every kind of weather and road condition imaginable!  Is there a reason you want to drive this? What time of year? Gas will cost as much as SW Air
