Kyle from Long Beach asked

In town for NBA games, what are the must sees around downtown Dallas?

Me and my wife are in our late 20's and headed to Dallas for a few NBA games. What are some of the must sees in the downtown and nearby areas?

Hey, so Uptown Dallas is right across the highway from downtown and has a lot of great bars and restaurants. Check out McKinney Avenue if you want to bar hop. If you want to sit outside and drink beer and grab a bite, go to The Rustic, Katy Trail Icehouse or the The Nodding Donkey. Another place to drink is the Deep Ellum Brewing Company (downtown).

To shop, go check out the West Village or you can head up 75 and go to NorthPark Center. If you prefer higher end stores, go to the Highland Park Village.

To see...check out Klyde Warren Park. It actually connects Uptown to Downtown and sits above the highway. On a nice day it's packed and there are a lot of food trucks  lining the streets.

If you have a car and want to sneak away to different areas for food and drinks, check out the Bishop Arts District and Trinity Groves.

Finally, for music, see who is playing at the House of Blues, the Granada Theater or some place in Deep Ellum. All good spots to check out bands.
