I am a US Citizen and would like to visit Cuba for about a week or two during the New Year's time.
Does anyone have experience in getting a visa? I know that a tourist visa is not available, but perhaps if me and my friend were to work an photography project or something similar while we were there, it would be easy to obtain? How long does the process take?
Also, any tips on where to stay for New Year's would be greatly appreciated. We are open to culture, scenery, parties, beautiful beaches!
I came back from Cuba last week. I traveled with a US company In Touch with Cuba, they got the visas for us. You can contact them easily over the phone to get extra advices. They guides are seasoned and experienced and they offered amazing tours in Havana. I'm sure they will help with all your questions even if you don't travel with them.
