Driving from Monteverde to Manuel Antonio - stops along the way?

Are there any sites we will see along our drive to stop at? Or anything not too far off?

Check out the road around Lake Arenal near La Fortuna it takes you by Volcano Arenal. The National Park is a good stop; there are several really nice hot springs. We have been to Arenal Paraiso Hotel Resort & SpaThen a great drive around the lake with lots of amazing views.  We stopped at The German Bakery in Nuevo Arenal, a little further around the lake is one of Costa Rica's only breweries.

Once you get to Highway One it is easy to make your way to the Coast headed to Manuel Antonio

Playa Herradura is a quiet little coastal town that you should stop at one your way through.
