Anyone with a suggested 7 day itinerary for a family of 10 would be appreciated. Where to fly into, where to stay day by day, what to see, where to fly out of. Thanks!!
I would suggest that you travel to @danieloduberairport located in @liberia and from there visit so many beautiful beaches such as @flamingo, @tamarindo, @conchal, @elcoco, etc. @monteverdecloudforest is another great option and near this location you can travel to @santateresa and @malpais beaches. These spots are located in the North Pacific. In you want a more wild experience, visit @corcovado and @drakebay, breathtaking spots in Costa Rica.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
It depends on the age, interest, physical fitness and budget of your group of 10. Where you fly from matters as well because there are 2 major airports in Costa Rica - one in Liberia and the other in San Jose, the capital city. Liberia has fewer flights compared to San Jose Airport. It's an excellent choice if you want to visit the beautiful beaches of Costa Rica as suggested by Rocio and Arenal.
That said, here is a suggested itinerary for 7 days:
Fly into Liberia Airport Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR).
Stay in Tamarindo for 2 nights. Enjoy the beaches, play golf, eat, drink and enjoy the beach town. Tamarindo is about an hour's drive from Liberia airport.
Day 3, 4 and 5
Tamarindo to Arenal (about a 5 hour drive) and stay 3 nights in Arenal Volcano National Park. Take a look at Caribe Shuttle for transportation to Arenal: https://www.caribeshuttle.com/tamarindo-to-arenal-la-fortuna
Arenal is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Costa Rica. Things to do in Arenal:
1. Bird watching
2. Horseback riding
4. Enjoy the geothermal springs
5. Visit La Fortuna Waterfall
6. Take the Sky Trek (Sky Tram Arenal)
8. Water rafting
9. Visit Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge (for wildlife lovers)
10. Take a day trip to Monteverde Cloud Forest
Return to Tamarindo or somewhere close to Liberia airport in the afternoon for an overnight stay.
Day 7 Fly home

My suggestion would be
Fly into San Jose. Either stay at the airport at the Trapp Family Country Innor go into town and stay at the Holiday Inn (which is an art deco hotel in the main tourist area). You can walk from there down to the National Museum of Costa Rica aka Gold museum and the Opera House. Take a tour to Tortuguero National Park(Caribbean coast) for a couple of days. The hotel there will be buffet style and there are multiple animal watching tours available. Then go back to San Jose and if you can, rent a van to drive down to Manuel Antonio. Stay in the Hotel San Bada which is right be the entrance to the park.
I had a blog of our trips on Virtual Tourist. I started putting them on another website but I haven't finished the 2015 part of the blog yet. 3 visits to Costa Rica
