I'm going to be traveling through Denmark during World Cup 2014 time frame. Looking for the best bars/venues to watch some matches. I'm American, so a USA friendly crowd would be a plus as would some of Copenhagen's happening food scene.
A game with a cold beer and some tasty grub... yes!
The best football pub in town is in my opinion the small cafe KrølbenCool people there who really love the game and good quality beers, especially those on bottle. They do not have food though.
One place that usually has big screens when there are big games is restaurant Allégade 10 and during summer months they have brazilian churrasco from their big outdoor grill.
If the weather treats you well, the Danish Public Radio has set up a gigantic outdoor screen for the 2014 World Cup at Islands Brygge. Great place for the kids to tumble around, as well.
I only spent a few days in Copenhagen but you will find a lot of bars and the world cup games will be featured all over the place. I remember one place Irish sounding (not super precise, I know) right in the Copenhagen Central Station (main train station you arrive in from the airport!) This would be super convenient...
