I am planning a trip to Cooperstown NY, flying from Canada sometime in the summer or so. I would like to find a reasonable priced accommodation in walking distance to the baseball hall of fame and museum. Which airport is closer to this city and which hotel would you suggest?

I've stayed in The Inn At Cooperstown and thought it was a great spot, close to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

The closest airport is Albany International Airport in Albany, NY. The nicest place to stay is the The Otesaga Resort Hotel right on Otsego Lake. There are many B&B's which are all nice also. Cooperstown (New York) is small but you would need a rental car to get there from the airport...approx. 90 miles.
