I'll be heading to Cleveland for business next month and want to take my clients out for a nice meal. What are some of the more trendy, quality dinner spots in Cleveland?
I echo Dante! It is one if my favorites. It's very trendy but cozy and comfortable. The food is incredibly delicious and original. one option is their Chefs menu we love that you can choose with or without wine pairing. The Chef surprises you with a five course meal. You can even get the Chefs menu as gluten free or vegetarian, etc. It gives you lots to talk about. All this would be lost without the service and often trendy restaurants miss this mark. But Dante delivers with thoughtful and efficient staff. And for fun, they have huge bowls of candy like jawbreakers and tootsie rolls at the hostess reception. Oh my, after all that I recall the restaurant Fire Food & Drink! I could go on and on about that place too. Ugh, you have to try both plus Lolita and Lola and others. But in Cleveland for a meeting where you need to hear each other talk, no question it would be Dante. Make your reservations plenty of time ahead.

I would recommend grabbing dinner Crop Bistro & Bar located in the Tremont area of Cleveland. Great fresh food and great drink menu.

Try Lola - can't go wrong with a Michael Symon restaurant!
Hi Khanh,
I'll echo the other recommendations of Lola, and also throw in Urban Farmer Cleveland's Steakhouse-neat spot inside the The Westin Cleveland Downtown. L'Albatros is a bit farther out from the downtown area, but a great place to impress.

Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade in downtown Cleveland fabulous, beautiful and historical area. Exquisite dining
I also love Crocker Park mall. Very classy dining there. The Sky Clup at the Baseball Park is sweet
Michael Simon's Lola is a great place downtown and very popular, but I prefer his original Lolita restaurant in the Tremont area. It's smaller with a different menu but I think it's a better choice. Johnny's Downtown is another killer place downtown in the warehouse district, but the original Johnny's Bar is an old school version of the Italian restaurant in a sketchier area but in my opinion worth the drive. Both have great wine lists, good staff and great food.
