"What to do in Wicker Park?"
Anyone have any ideas about what to see in the Wicker Park area? I’ll be staying in the area with a friend soon and need advice about what to see. Would also love advice on areas to shop and eat that aren't too pricey!

You are going to love Wicker Park!
I also agree with both of Laura's suggestions, especially Big Star . Try the Taco al Pastor and the Taco de Pescado - both are simply amazing! They only take cash, so make sure you hit the ATM before hand. It's worth the wait in my opinion, and if you want something faster, they have a side area to go.
While we're on the topic of amazing tacos, another yummy spot is Antique Taco . My favorite is the Pork Carnitas taco. If you're looking for a fun place after dinner, head to Emporium Arcade Bar to play some old school arcade games and enjoy their extensive beer list!
Another fantastic sandwich shop is Jerry's Sandwiches . No joke, they have hundreds of sandwiches all named after people, and I've never had one I didn't love. Definitely a great choice if you're looking for tasty food on a budget.
And then there's Lillie's Q . Can you say unreal BBQ?! It's so delish and I can promise you'll leave happy. Great atmosphere, homemade sauces and the best pulled pork I've had.
For brunch, no questions asked it's Birchwood Kitchen . It's so fresh and I love ordering a big latte and sitting by the window. Just a great experience overall.
As for shopping, Wicker Park and Bucktown tends to be a lot of expensive boutiques, but I would check out AKIRA Bucktown Women's as they have some trendy pieces for less! You'll also find a lot of nearby stores close by on Milwaukee and Damen Avenue.
Hope this helps, have an amazing trip!
