Hello,
I am planning a bachelorette party weekend for the end of February in Chicago. I was hoping to find a decently priced hotel in walking distance of some fun bars, restaurants (brunch is a must), spas and other fun activities.
We are not interested in male strippers or things of that nature...just a fun girls weekend where we can go out and enjoy good food and drinks.
We will have a group of 8 to 12 women who are in the 25 to 29 age range
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
You'll want to stay in River North. It is close to a varying selection of nightlife. Everything from happy hour bars to late night clubs. There are plenty of hotels in the area, so its typically not too difficult to find a fair price.
Hubbard Street will have lots of good food spots for you to enjoy. Just to name a few:
-Rockit Bar & Grill (Burger etc)
-Bub City (BBQ/Country Bar)
-Sunda (sushi)
-Mercadito Chicago (Mexican)
Brunch varies but Lincoln Park (Illinois) has several bars with bottomless mimosa specials and will only be about a $10 cab from River North. El Hefe in River North is a popular Sunday Funday spot but is very much an upbeat spot.

What a fun weekend to plan!
My top hotel choices for a bachelorette group, all located within walking distance of fun scene with great spa's are Hotel Palomar Chicago, Dana Hotel and Spa, Hotel Felix Chicago. Can't go wrong, just go with cheapest option!

I really love the Raffaello Hotel. Smaller, boutique hotel and just a block off of Michigan Avenue. I've stayed here for work and for fun and it's always amazing. I just checked the rates for the last weekend in February and the rates ranged from $135 - $160/night.
I was just in Chicago a couple weeks ago and went to brunch at Siena Tavern and it was fantastic. Definitely worth it. The food was great and the service was top notch. I think you'll want to make reservations.
If you want to do something very fancy for drinks one night, check out Aviary. Really unique and innovative drinks... I think I had one that came in a vacuum sealed bag. It's not cheap but a really fun experience. You'll also want to make reservations and it could be a fun place to start the night or go right after dinner before going to a bar. This is in West Loop and there are tons of bars nearby.
My sister lives here so I'll ask her for other recommendations. Have a great trip!
