"Best Local Restaurant"
What's the best mid-range non-chain restaurant in Charleston that exemplifies the local cuisine? My husband and I are visiting there in October with my parents for our first time.

I would go to the Hominy Grill on Rutledge Ave Great place that fits your bill to a "T". Also home in on upper King Street from the 300 block on for loads of great places. For a great lunch try King Street Public House. Ask for Paul, the chef.
