What is there to do?

We will be visiting in a couple days camping in our RV. We are looking for things to do, besides visiting the college.

In Carlisle (Pennsylvania) is a sports place (go karts, laser tag), a distillery, some farm markets, a US Army Education Centery, Letort Park (with Fort Letort), Boiling Springs Pool, and three or four museums.  You can also visit Harrisburg which is not far - it is the Capital of Pennsylvania.  And it is only 45 minutes to Hershey's Chocolate World

Hi Laura,
You can take a self-guided walking tour and discover Civil War history in downtown Carlisle (Pennsylvania) . Here's a brochure for the self-guided tour from Cumberland Valley Visitors Bureau: https://res.cloudinary.com/simpleview/image/upload/v1466638198/clients/cumberland/civil_war_carlisle_tour_c87c6ee0-0061-b119-3333fdf6f46de7e9.pdf
I would make time to visit Meadowbrooke Gourds, the largest gourd manufacturer in America, and the Rolls Royce Foundation in Mechanicsburg . It's America's largest museum and research center for Rolls Royce and Bentley cars.
