Justin from South Lake Tahoe asked

Best areas for snow in Canada?

Where can I find the best snow for winter activities in Canada?  I'm big into skiing and snowboading.

Canada

Whistler is a great spot, but very costly and they don't get as much snow as other spots. Overall your best choices would be the BanffJasper (Canada), and Canmore areas. Jasper is a quieter/smaller town, while Banff is the skiing hub of Alberta. You might also want to check out some spots in Fernie as well.

Alberta has several great areas for skiing and boarding in Banff, Lake Louise and Jasper (Canada).  The snow here is very light, dry and powdery and right now the conditions are really good too!  look up Ski Big 3 and Travel Alberta for info on the resorts
