Head to East Aurora (20 minutes from downtown Buffalo) and dine at the Historic Roycroft Inn! Great food and service and an amazing destination!

I would definitely suggest checking out Anchor Bar or Duff's Wings!

Buffalo has a great food scene. Here's a list of recommendations in no particular order:

Shango New Orleans's bistro

Five Points Bakery - try the cinnamon buns

Martin Cooks - awesome, awesome, awesome. You'll need a reservation.

Blue Monk

Seabar - try the beef on weck roll

There's a food truck gathering on Tuesday nights in Larkin Square that's supposed to be really good, but I haven't been yet.
