Best Boutique Shopping in Brooklyn?

What are the best shopping areas/streets to see. Looking for bookstores, women's boutiques and eye glasses stores.

Abby - for best shopping in Brooklyn, I'd check out Williamsburg and Greenpoint in Brooklyn.  In Williamsburg, if you walk around Bedford Ave between North 1st and North 10th, you'll find a lot of shops in that surrounding area.  Probably not the best suited to comment on women's boutiques but I'm sure there's tons in the Williamsburg area!  Hope that helps. - Sean

Go to Awoke Vintage a small vintage boutique on Bedford and N5th and to Beacon's Closet, a HUGE vintage shop in Williamsburg. You'll love both!

I lived in Brooklyn for seven years before leaving NYC a few years ago. Williamsburg is a good area to start. It has a lot of boutiques...new and vintage. If you get hungry or thirsty plenty of places to grab a bite.

Monocle Order Inc

Tree House Design Ltd

Pink Olive

Narcisse NYC

Catbird

Artists & Fleas

You can venture into Park Slope for more unique boutiques and a few second hand stores. You have a smaller selection of great places with one of a kind merchandise.

A.Cheng

Bird

Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co.

Guvnor's Vintage Apparel

Life Boutique Thrift

Carroll Gardens has a great selection of shops too. They are spread along Smith and Court streets. It will be easy to walk about and find them.

Papél New York

Brooklyn Collective

Flirt Brooklyn

Rapisarda

Go to DUMBO on a shopping adventure under the Manhattan Bridge. Cool area with narrow streets and a park area by the water if you need a break :)

Hope you like the ones I have mentioned but there will be a lot more :)
