Travelling from Brig to Lyon (about 360km/225 miles, minimum 4 hours driving with no stops, roadworks or traffic congestion) you have plenty of choice even if you exclude the numerous beautiful landscapes & viewpoints, the beaches of Lake Geneva......and several theme/'amusement' parks.
Examples on your route in travelling order from Brig:
1. Château de Tourbillon (ruined Medieval castle) near Sion
The beautiful Medieval Château de Chillon between Villeneuve and Veytaux:
3. Chaplin's World (a museum dedicated to Charlie Chaplin, his life & work in the Chaplin family's Swiss home) in Corsier-sur-Vevey
4. The AQUATIS Aquarium-Vivarium near Lausanne
5. Or the art galleries, museums and old town of Lausanne itself. Official tourist info site in English:
6. The alpin de Meyrin Botanical Garden in Meyrin
7. The historical sites & sights, museums and galleries of Geneva . Official tourist info site in English:
8. The Glacières de Sylans, the remains of a huge late-1800s ice-cream factory, including its massive ice-houses.
Enjoy your trip! :-)
