Route driving no more than 4-5 hrs per day

My best college friend and I are going on 75th driving trip from San Francisco, Ca to Bozeman, Mt. and want to limit our driving time to no more than 4-5 hours per day. Fun route, what should we see? We are VERY fun and adventurous but I have some limits so can’t do hiking. We would love to see lots of things...very flexible, curious about new adventures, but not too rustic. Leaving May 20, 2019 and travel end date is totally flexible.

San Francisco (California) Bozeman (Montana)

If you spread it out over 4 days, you can drive 4-5 hours per day:

From San FranciscoReno is a nice stop that you're probably already familiar with.
I don't know much between Reno and Wells (Nevada). Maybe you try to do a side route to Black Rock Desert? That might not work if you're not into hiking though.
Next go to Twin Falls and Idaho Falls.
Stop to see Old Faithful in Yellowstone before you reach Bozeman.
