Boston this weekend- what are the best new restaurants & events in town?

Looking for recommendations on any new restaurants or fun events happening this weekend (6/19) in Boston.  We are staying in the Back Bay where we lived 10 years ago. We now live in NYC and like a variety of food / cultural attractions - just looking to experience the best of what Boston has to offer. My wife and I are ~40 yrs old, childless (this weekend), and are flexible on budget. Our old haunts use to be Stephanie's for brunch, Sonsie or Daisy Buchanan's for a drink after work,Tapeo/Kashmir/etc for dinner, and activities like sailing in the harbor, walking along the Charles River / Boston Common.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

I would suggest going to the North End, and you have many choices in front of you. There is a nice cafe called Caffe Vittoria on Hanover Street which is pretty and traditional and vintage, with good pastries and coffee.

I highly recommend Sarma Restaurant one of the best new Mediterranean restaurants in greater Boston. The neighborhood may not be impressive but when you walk into the restaurant you will forget about it.
