Spencer from Los Angeles asked

Top places to camp & offbeat accommodations in Central/Nor Cal?

I'm doing a camping road trip next month through California starting from L.A. and heading through Big Sur and then onto Sonoma, North Lake Tahoe, and Yosemite. Where are the best places to camp and really unique accommodations? Also, taking any must-do recommendations for Yosemite. I've spent a bit of time in the other destinations, but first Yosemite visit.

Big Sur (California)   Sonoma County (California)   Lake Tahoe (California)   Yosemite National Park (California)

The classic hikes are Yosemite FallsMist Trail, and of course Half Dome but one of my favorite hikes that usually doesn't pull in a lot of crowds is Lembert Dome and Dog Lake. Lembert offers some of the best views of Yosemite, and right around there is Dog Lake which a lot of people don't know about.
