Barbara from Victoria asked

Best district in Berlin to rent using VRBO?

We are using VRBO for rental accommodation - what district would be best? East Germany has been recommended.

Berlin (Germany)

Prenzlauer Berg is fun and very hip. Around Savignyplatz (Berlin) is also great for nice design shops and great restaurants. The walkability and connection of both places is good. Prenzlauer Berg is more hipster. Mitte is great too. Mitte would be fun, if available. Maybe try to find something bordering Mitte in P Berg. Not a fan of Neukölln. Have fun wherever you land!

It depends what you're looking for. I've stayed in Kreuzberg and it was definitely a younger crowd but there were great restaurants around. Mitte is the center of the city but it might be hard to find a VRBO there. Tons of hotels around and really touristy. Neukölln might be a good area to look into. A good mix of both locals and tourists and it was a nice neighborhood.
