Go for tapas in the Fragments Cafè in les corts. Have the best french fries at Bar Tomás in sarria or enjoy some delicious food at La Pubilla del Taulat in poblenou. If you search for more local hints. Download my free three day guide at www.bcnbylocals.com

Go to Dow Jones to drink. Prices go up and down based on demand.

Xaica was a typical catalan restaurant at La Rambla. Not sure if it is still there. Wander the back streets of Las Ramblas and find a tapas bar.
