There's a decent place in the barceloneta neighborhood called Can Ramonet

Calle Maquinista, 17, 08003 Barcelona, Spain there's also another fancier place called Restaurant 7 Portes - Restaurante 7 Puertas

Passeig d'Isabel II, 14, 08003 Barcelona, Spain I have to clarify that paella it's not typical from Barcelona if you really want to go for authentic you should explore the markets and eat in the little stalls where they serve food there. It's really easy to end up in "tourist trap" kinda places in there.

  1. Can Ramonet (restaurant)
  2. 7 Portes (restaurant)

I had a pretty good paella at Kaiku. It's in Barceloneta which tends to be a bit pricier but the food is proper traditional.

I am more of a tapas fan but another good bet for a cheaper and still delicious paella is Salamanca. You'll have to wait a bit but it's worth it.

  2. Salamanca (restaurant)
