Best places for views of the city

Any suggestions for rooftop bars, museum terraces, restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions, etc (on a budget!) that offer great views of the city? Especially during sunsets?

Barcelona (Spain)

On a budget? Go to Passeig de les Aigües, there is a teleferic (cog train) going up there that is included in the t-10.

For a different view on the city and especially its harbor, I love La Caseta del Migdia (bar only weekends)

There are lots of great rooftop hotel bars in Barcelona, and the best thing is that they're almost never crowded with tourists as they're not really on the tourist radar! They usually all have a pool as well (not sure if you can use them if you're not staying in the hotel, but why not try)

My top recommendation would be Hotel barcelo raval. They have 360 degrees panoramic view of the city, and free telescopes! You don't even have to buy a cocktail if you don't want to. They also got tanning chairs for you to lounge around in the sun.

Another great one is the rooftop bar of Ohla Hotel. You get great views of the city and their cocktails are delicious (though on the pricier side!)

Hotel Silken Diagonal Barcelona has a rooftop bar & pool right by the Torre Agbar. Go in the evening at sunset so that you'll get city & ocean views, as well as up close and personal with the beautiful lights of the Torre Agbar!

Hotel Majestic also has quite a nice rooftop bar, but veryyy pricy.
