floating market

Any public transport can reach there?need advance booking for boat ride? I will stay the hotel near Ratchathewi

We took a cab from our hotel to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. It cost us $100. Included was round trip transportation and tickets for two to ride a longtail boat for an hour. The driver also waited for an hour while we explored the market. The taxi was arranged by the concierge at Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok.

It is not necessary to book a trip. We hire a boat near the National Palace and he took us to the floating market and to other temples for a very good price.
