I know Bangkok is a street food Mecca but I'm not a terribly adventurous eater and would rather do my eating in restaurants. Any ideas of some great restaurant food at street food prices? I'm trying to do this trip on a budget. Thanks so much!
Peppina ( Italian )
Punjab Grill (Indian and a bit expensive but great food). Try Butter Chicken and Cheese Garlic Naan and I'm sure you'll love it.
Quince, Seven Spoons and Steve Cafe & Cuisine, are great as well. All on Sukhumvit.

I'm not an adventurous eater as well. I prefer food courts. Here are a few I visited:
1. Terminal 21 Food Court on Sukhumvit Road
2. EmQuartierfood court in the basement
3. Siam Paragon Food Hall
4. Central World Food Court

From my experience this summer I noticed restaurant prices are still super reasonable for traditional Thai food, the more western the more expensive we found. There are some great street food tours that have knowledgeable guides but they may be out of your budget. The street food were the best meals we had in our 3 week trip, maybe you could check out some dishes ahead of time online or in a book before hand so you are more comfortable?
