Bangalore has quite a lot of vibrant weekend getaway destinations which might suit to various tastes of enjoyment.

For trekking and camping, one could consider anthargange,RamanagaramBheemeshwari Nature Education Camp (rafting is also available), Chikmagalur or the most famous of them Ooty which is at a distance of almost 300 km best suited if considering a road trip.

If you are interested in sightseeings and visiting historical sights the Nandi Hills which is around 50 km from Bangalore or Mysore which is around 160 km, Ooty is also known as a sightseeing destination.

Pondicherry is a destination for those who are beach enthusiast. Located at a distance of around 300 km this destination is also famous for historical places.

There are few methods for enjoying the road trip, One can book an outstation taxi services but the trip can be extra enjoyable if you rent that car all for yourself. Rental services like Drivezy provides the best option for renting with low rates and easy usage and access.

There are a great many options for weekend getaways from Bangalore. If you are planning for a day out then you head to nearby destinations like Antara Gange, Mekedatu, Madhugiri Betta,Savandurga HillKunti BettaBannerughattaNandi Hills etc.

If you are planning for an overnight stay in the destination then these are some optins

Beach destinations

Gokarnawould be the best choice if you like beaches. It is an overnight journey from Bangalore to Gokarna. The beaches here are less crowded and has people from across the world come here just to chill and enjoy the vibes of this small beach town. There are many beach shacks available within a budget of Rs.300 where you can stay. The food though is pretty heavy on the pocket near the beach area, if you go a little away from the beaches, you'll find good food at reasonable price too.

Trekking destinations

If you like mountains, then you can go trekking to places like KodachadriKumara ParvathaTadiandamolKopatty Hill TopKuduremukha  etc.

Other destinations

MysoreHampiSakleshpurOotyWayanad are few other options you can consider. Wayanad would be a great place to plan a road trip.
