Banff
I'm moving to Banff during the summer months, so I'm looking for tips, advice, or stories from anyone who has traveled to Banff to live.
Hi Sam
Banff is a fantastic place to live in the Summer and find work. I know the Banff Hostels (Banff Alpine Centre) has a job seekers package that might be a good fit for you. Here is a link to their webpage for more detailed info http://www.hihostels.ca/westerncanada/877/HI-Banff-Alpine-Centre/Working-Holiday-Makers/index.hostel
Hey Sam,
Hope you are excited by the move to Banff. It's is truly a spectacular place to visit and stay. You will fall in love with the soft, indigenous air and beautiful canopies around the area, not to forget the mountainous wildlife you get to experience. FYI, Spring is just around the corner before Summer kicks in and you get to do a variety of stuff according to your needs.

Two places I would recommend visiting is Drumheller and Rocky Mountain House, both are close to Banff.
A great place to stay for networking and finding like minded friends, Samesun Backpackers Banff & The Beaver Bar and Cougar's Pete (in the wilderness) is awesome and chill,

Just a brief info about me- I lived in Ottawa for 5 years and went to Carleton University to obtain a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering and have been working in Ottawa/Red Deer since then.

I moved to Canmore last summer (its only a 20 min drive east of Banff). It can be a bit hard to find a place to live. The best places to find accommodation are http://www.kijiji.ca/h-banff-canmore/1700234 & Facebook groups like https://www.facebook.com/groups/180091825445068/ there is a similar one for Canmore. http://www.banfflist.com also has postings usually. Canmore is a little bit less touristy than Banff and gets a lot more Canadian Tourists than international tourists. Both towns are amazing places to live especially in the summer!
