I am going to be spending a few days in Banff in the winter and was wondering some awesome but pretty cheap things to do! Preferably something with some great views or something else unique to the area. Thanks!
Hello Maren. Banff is a beautiful place to visit in the winter, and there are some inexpensive options for you to explore. Will you have a rental vehicle? You can just enjoy the scenery from the many drive options in the area. If you don't have a car Banff has its own public transportation system that can move you around the town. Be sure to bring your swimsuit and go for a soak at the Banff Upper Hot Springs which are both therapeutic and relaxing too. You can also go see the world famous The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel even if you aren't a guest there. It is a beautiful castle like hotel and you could go enjoy and afternoon coffee there in the Rundle Lounge that offers great views. You really should go up the Banff Gondola - as it offers a magnificent view of the area on a clear day.
