Bali is glorious year round, but gets a pretty serious amount of rain from January - April.  If you go, stay away from Kuta (the main town near the airport)!

  • Bali basically has a wet and a dry season, both warm (mid to high 20's). Wet season is December through to April, I wouldn't recommend wet season.

The weather conditions are most favourable in terms of travel, during the dry monsoon season, May - September. During my visit in July 2012 we had a few cloudy days, of which it probably only rained twice. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

July - August are the peak tourist seasons in Bali, as the weather is cool and dry during this period. However, this being the peak season months, be prepared to encounter large numbers of tourists venturing into Bali at the same time.

You may also consider visiting Bali during September. The weather is cool and breezy during this month, and there are lesser tourists (which means better traffic on the roads!).
