Food trucks

My fiancée and I will be visiting Austin for the first time the last week of May. We love food trucks and want to try to hit up as many as possible. Which ones should definitely be on our list?

You absolutely, no doubt, have to check out  Hey!...You Gonna Eat Or What? It's a weird name, but a fantastic cart.

The posters above have covered the food trucks.  I know you didn't ask this, but since you're asking about food, and you're in Austin, it is absolutely necessary to check out at least a few of the many outstanding Texas BBQ houses.  Franklins BBQ is a spectacle, but its an experience you can say you did.  Snow's BBQ is another great one.  Kreuz Market is another outstanding place.  If you do venture for the 3 hour wait to eat at Franklins BBQ, make sure to get a beef rib (not on the menu).

Mentioned in this answer:

  1. Franklins BBQ (attraction)
  2. Snow's BBQ (restaurant)
  3. Kreuz Market (restaurant)

only repeating because you really have to try these -  East Side KingGourdough's Truck for dessert,  Torchy's Tacos for breakfast taco - ranch hand with diablo sauce is my fave!

G'Raj Mahal Cafe in the rainey street district for indian food and atmosphere of the neighborhood.

And i love  Dock & Roll Diner for their lobster rolls.

As tempted as you might be to get a cupcake at hey cupcake, go to  Sugar Mama's Bakeshop instead!
