Hello there. Did you consider Bhutan? A small Himalayan kingdom known to be the happiest country in Asia. We are a Buddhist country and the friendliness of people in general may give you a culture shock. :) I am a founder of small travel agency in Bhutan. Give our website a visit to learn more about Bhutan. Your kids will love Bhutan, they might probably think they are in a circus. :)

You may consider India as your holiday destination. India is so demographically and geographically vast that there is always something for everyone to rejoice for. If you want to enjoy the hills and mountains , there are great Himalayas in the north covering the Indian states of Jammu & Kashmir , Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Kashmir is often called as Heaven on Earth. You may find many hill stations to go for, from popular ones like ShimlaManali etc, to unexplored and tranquil ones like MukteshwarKasol etc.

                                               Kashmir

IF you want to enjoy Desert, Forts, palaces of various kingdoms that once existed in India, you can go to Rajasthan. This colorful state is home to number of palaces and forts that are converted into luxury hotels now and are counted among the best hotels of the world.JaipurUdaipur,Jaisalmer are the most popular destinations of Rajasthan.
                                           Forts OF Rajasthan

If you are in mood of going for a beach holiday, The states of Goa and Kerala wont disappoint you as they are home to some of the best beaches of Asia. Serene and tranquil beaches of south goa are best if you want a relaxing holiday away from the hustle bustle of other crowded beaches.

                                               Beaches Of Goa

Kerala is often called as 'Gods own Country' and is home to some of the best tourist destinations of South India, some of them are Backwaters of  Alleppey, Hills of Munnar and beaches of Trivandrum and Kochi.

                                   Backwaters of Alleppey, Kerala

Sikkim. It is one of the best places to visit in India(based on my personal experience).Huge number of foreign tourists arrive at this state to experience the unspoiled and still fresh places of the great Himalayas. It has some of the best trekking routes in India(some of them can also be covered by children too.)

Yeah..June- September are the monsoon months of India during which some places might become dangerous to visit while some come into their true and vibrant colors; their beauty increases many folds. I would not suggest you to visit the lower himalayas i.e the states of himachal and uttrakhand due to danger of landslides (sorry..i did not consider the monsoon factor in my previous post). But Yes..You can enjoy beaches of Goa and Kerala, they turn more greener and beautiful. Also Rajasthan can also be visited during the monsoon months as the weather becomes more pleasant to explore the desert. I forgot to mention the islands of Andaman and Nicobar and The lakswadeep..They are counted among best places to visit in india during monsoon. Also if you want to visit the Himalayas, you can visit the upper himalayas like the areas of Leh laddakh in kashmir. It is a very beautiful place to visit and many bollywood movies have been shot here..:)

East coast of Malaysia is the best. If you don't prefer sea holiday, Shanghai can also be an option too. For an outstanding and authentic experience, I would suggest Mongolia (stay at a yurt or a desert safari in Gobi Desert) and Samarkand in Central Asia.
