Saint Paul (Minnesota)
My husband and I will be traveling to Asheville for 4 nights in mid October. We hear it has a fabulous dining scene. But we will only eat meat sustainably sourced without anti-bionics or growth hormones. We are looking for restaurants that would work for us. Also I have some food sensitivities(gluten/dairy) so places that are accommodating would be helpful as well. We are super excited to explore the city. We have heard so many great things about it.
If anyone wants to throw out some cool things to do that would be great also. I know we will see the Biltmore Estate and the Friday Night Drum thing for sure. I'm sure we will do some hiking. I hear there an an abandon town we could explore as well. Is Lake Lure cool? We aren't really into beer so no need to suggest breweries unless they make hard cider. We are more into wine and craft cocktails.
We can't wait to see and explore Asheville!
Thanks for any advice. :-)
I haven't been around Asheville much, but in the few times I've been there, we've eaten at the Laughing Seed Cafe and loved it! Love the vibe here and the food is really good.
