Is it worth visiting Asheville in the winter?

I was planning a girls trip for this winter and Asheville was on the list of possibilities.  I know it won't be warm in the winter but is still worth visiting?

I live in the area, depends on what you like. Biltmore Estate Dr is a must, could take most of a day, otherwise funky shops, microbreweries, coffee shops,  also walk through The Omni Grove Park Inn, but you may have to pay to park.

The Biltmore House decorates for Christmas and is interesting to visit at any time, although the gardens won't be as interesting in the winter.  All the little shops and one-of-a-kind stores in Historic Biltmore Village will be fun to visit no matter the weather.

The Omni Grove Park Inn has a spa that's good for a girls' day of pampering.

Definitely visit Asheville in the winter! The city is gorgeous. Compared to most places in North Carolina, Asheville will definitely be one of the coldest cities. However, there are many cozy restaurants, breweries and shops to duck into when you're chilly. The food scene is amazing and there are lots of beautiful things to see and do! Definitely check out the Biltmore Estate -- hopefully you can go when it's still decorated for the holidays.
