What are the best kid-friendly high-end resorts closest to shops and restaurants?

There are multiple locations that you may want to consider for your vacation. Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino has an elaborate kids program. Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino is high end and the slides are perfect for kids. Costa Linda Is a very nice resort with a very big swimming pool. However most resorts tailor to your kids needs.
The shops are mostly located near the High Rise area and the city center. When it comes to restaurant, you have one of those on every corner, if not two. Therefore do not be alarmed, they are all within a short walk from your resort. Hope you enjoy your stay on Aruba!

We have stayed at the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino; we don't have kids, but have noted that the Marriott does have a kid's activity director, and a schedule of activities everyday.
The best location is the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. On the property is the hotel, the Marriott Ocean Club and the Marriott Surf Club. I have been to Aruba 8 times and have stayed at all 3 properties . The Marriott Surf Club is the best of the 3, and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It also has a Lazy river pool that is very kid friendly. There are many organized events for the kids to participate in during the day.
We always stay at Costa Linda. High end and kid friendly. Not a huge amount of shopping except at nearby hotels, but plenty of restaurants.
RIU Palace is a great place to start upscale all-inclusive, The Westin Resort & Casino also has a great property, Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino is also very good place both my 5 and 7 yr old boys love that property the most very kid friendly. however Aruba is an island most frequent by an older crowd, both hotels are close to each other, shops and greats restaurants. and the best beaches in the island.
