Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Port Blair, Havelock Island, Andaman Islands

What to see\to do on Andaman Islands?

I'm going with my wife to South India in December. The very first place we're planing to visit are Andaman Islands. I've read that there's not much to do if you're not diving (we're thinking about diving course) and you can get bored after a week. We're not sure how long we want to stay there. Do you have any idea what to see or where to go? Any idea how long to stay in there?

There's not a lot to do, so a week may be a bit long. I would check out spots like Ross Island which is fascinating.  It's like a giant abandoned cathedral covered in overgrowth. You could also try Diglipur, which has an interesting little market and some very interesting caves. Personally, I think five days would be more than enough.

Mentioned in this answer:

  1. Ross Island (attraction)
  2. Diglipur (attraction)
