Hi there just wondering if there are public toilets in Amsterdam?
I was in Amsterdam a few months ago and learned about 2theloo.com. On their site, you'll find a list of toilets in the Netherlands, including one on High Street Loetje Centraal , Amsterdam. I'm not sure if their first location on Kalverstraat is still opened. Currently, 2theloo has over 200 locations in 15 countries.
Mentioned in this answer:
McDonalds or Burger King always good options-you may have to pay a small charge (.50 euro) and some have a barrier and you insert the coins first to gain entry. Some now, you need to buy something and there will be a bar code on your receipt to gain access. Usually fairly clean.
The central train station and the museums always good-may be a cost. Magna Plaza has public toilets.
For men there are urinals in the streets-in red light area and Leidseplein easily located
There are! In the Kalverstraat there is a “2theloo” and many bigger department stores (de bijenkorf and Hema) have public toilets as well. These are not free of charge, but they are clean. :-)
There are, although they're not as commonplace as in other European cities such as Paris or London. However, most fast food restaurants will let you use the toilet.
For men yes. For women barely unfortunately
