You don't say whether you'll be hiring a car or using the safe, excellent Dutch railway...nor do you say what sort of places interest you.

If you're going to use the train, here's the official Dutch railway website in English for domestic (i.e. within the Netherlands) trips:

    http://www.ns.nl/en

and for trips to other countries:

    https://www.nsinternational.nl/en

Within the Netherlands you can easily (and should) visit Haarlem, Delft, The Hague (Den Haag), Rotterdam and Leiden.

It's a fast and easy train trip from Amsterdam to Brussels or Antwerp (or Ghent or Bruges) in Belgium. All those places are well worth a visit.

In Germany, Dusseldorf, Bonn, Cologne (Koeln) are all easy train journeys from Amsterdam.

You have a huge number of possibilities.....the hard part is deciding which place you're going to visit! :-)

Well, first of all Netherlands is not very big country and u need to change your hotel and stay some where else. However, if u want to do it, I suggest u first visit Utrecht which is very close to Amsterdam (alsmost 30 min by train) and after that u can go to Rotterdam and visit this city. Stay for a night there and then tomorrow you can go for The Hague and visit this nice city and then come back to Amsterdam.

Generally, in my opinion, Utrecht is a vey vintage city, Rotterdam is very modern city and Den Haugh is a very lovely city.

    Enjoy
