What are some cool and cheap accommodations for 2 people in Amsterdam for a few days?
Have stayed at the Owl Hotel. Was about 97 euro double room. In a lovely old building very close to Leidsplein with shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. Is close to tram line-can get tram from main railway station which gets you from airport.Vondelpark just down a couple of blocks. Not far from canals.Staff are helpful.
Hello!!!
Amsterdam is that place where hotels are always fully booked. You'll easily find places in shared rooms, but privates... a bit difficult without advance.
So my advice is for you to try and book it as soon as you can!
I hope you'll have a great time in Amsterdam!
Marina-
We stayed at B&B MNQUE and absolutely loved it. Great location, clean, bright and airy apartment. We booked through Airbnb at the time, but you can book directly through her website. We love staying in apartments over hotels as it's usually less expensive and we get more of an authentic feel of the city.
Hi Marina,
we have stayed at the Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark and it was great value for money, a fantastic location and had bike hire! I highly recommend it.
Also check out Airbnb and VRBO for unique and local accommodation options that can be cheaper for a couple or two people. We once stayed in a houseboat on the Amstel Canal and it was so cool!
I love Amsterdam, we have been there 4 times. Check out some great places to explore, eat and drink at here: http://www.neverendinghoneymoon.net/tips-for-exploring-amsterdam/
