I'll be heading to Jordan later this month and plan to spend a couple of days in Amman before heading south to Petra and Aqapa. What recommendations do you have for Amman. Is there anything in the city itself that is not to miss?
Amman's Roman Theater is a especially well preserved one and I love how it is literally plotted into the tight density of the old city.
The capital is also a veritable foodie haven so, if you are into Middle Eastern and Berber cuisines I would highly recommend a planned out food tour to experience the amazing family-run kitchens in town.
Safe travels and enjoy Jordan!
Here's a link of 99 things you can do it Amman.
Hope you see this in time.
