Well, hello there. My name is Soraya and I am a life-long explorer.
Middle-Eastern and European by blood, American by nationality and Asian by the sheer percentage of food I consume, I like to think of myself as a citizen of the world. I've traveled to over 70 countries and want to see 99 more before I die.
As a kid, I used to dream of a) hosting a travel channel show or b) joining the ranks of National Geographic or c) magically morphing into Diane Sawyer.
These days, I'm living out a real dream as the co-founder of Zady, a content and commerce platform dedicated to sourcing the finest quality products from around-the-globe. I am also a proud advisor of this fine website.
So enough about me... let's swap notes!

Aussies know how to have fun better than almost anyone - and Bondi Beach is the physical representation of this. I would start my day there, then spend the afternoon at the Sydney Opera House. It's ideal. See More
When are you going? Miami Beach is awesome. Art Basel (a great international art show in December) is when I head to there and a day of relaxation in the sun post gallery hopping is how I like to experience the beach. For shopping, go to Barneys.... See More
Debbie, have you ever been to Ippudo NY? The pork buns are amongst my favorite in the world! Seriously. Several people have mentioned Balthazar Restaurant which is the closest New York comes to a Parisian baguette or croissant.... See More
I love Samovar Tea Lounge and Tartine Bakery & Cafe. The Jasmine Lemonade at Somovar is wonderful and it's impossible to go to Tartine without leaving with the cookbook in hand. Must visits. See More
