ABest travel tools?

There's an awesome translation app called Word Lens.  It's amazing.  You hold up your phone in live camera view and it overlays a translation of signs, menus, etc.  You can then freeze the translation.  There are multiple languages available. See More

AWhat are some budget-friendly destinations?

In my opinion you can't go wrong with cruising.  You can find last minute deals close to home.  Check out  for some options.  Cruising is great because your food and entertainment are built in to the cost of the trip and you get... See More

AWhat is your best travel selfie?

My favorite travel selfie was this past May when I was on a Wine Country Cruise with Princess Cruises.  I love to go to the top deck all by myself and just soak up all the grand views of nature.  It is my happy place. See More

ASeattle: Fun places in Seattle.

Seattle is a super fun city to explore.  I would recommend hopping on the light-link rail public transit system and exploring the city that way.  It's cheap and convenient.  It will drop you off at several locations with lots to see and do! See More

ATo cruise or not to cruise: why or why not?

I went on my first cruise in 2011 from Los Angeles to Ensenada.  Ever since then I have been hooked on cruising.  I have sailed 6 times and have my 7th coming up next month.  My favorite itinerary was Seattle... See More
