ASan Francisco: How to organise tours of Google/Facebook/Apple/Tesla?

I think your best bet is to go through your MBA alumni directory, find an alum working there, and ask them for a coffee and a tour. You might also want to try their respective HR departments. See More

ATokyo: 2 nights in Tokyo, 2 in and around Mt. Fuji

I always recommend  Fukudaya   It was less than $100 but is now a little more.   You might want to consider a "love hotel."  You can't (or shouldn't) book them but they can be quite cheap after 11pm.  They can also be one of the trippiest experiences... See More

ASan Francisco: Should we stay at a hotel in Union Square or a Pier hotel?

Union Square is a bustling, not very attractive part of SF. Given your options, I'd definitely take the Embarcadero option. You're close enough to the MUNI.  That'll take you to the more attractive parts of town, the Mission, the Haight, the Castro, etc.... See More

ATokyo: Mom and daughter friendly hotels in walkable Tokyo area?

My favorite place to stay is Fukudaya Hotel.  It is 10 minutes walk to Shibuya Station in one of my favorite areas.  It is also quite affordable. http://www2.gol.com/users/ryokan-fukudaya/ See More

QChile: To do the W trek or not

My wife and I have just enough days in the Torres del Paine area to do the W trek.  But we are not sure if it would be better to do a day hike or two and then some kayaking instead.  Any opinions on which is best? See More

QChile: Renting a car in Argentina; dropping off in Chile

Has anyone rented a car in Argentina and dropped it off in Chile?  I don't want to drive back. Would love to know if it was much more expensive or possible at all. See More

ATokyo: Best places to eat in the Ebisu neighborhood?

I'm a bit of a ramen snob; I will eat ramen in only 2 places in Tokyo. Kazuki in Ebisu is one of them:  http://www.ramentokyo.com/2012/08/kazukiebisu.html See More
