I'm a classical recording producer living in Boise, Idaho. I love travel, cooking, wine, live music (and really, performances of any kind), animals, books, and people. Not necessarily in that order. "Be what is" is my motto. I have played conch and theremin and e-flat nickel bass and harpsichord for people. I once taught climbing at a sailing camp and eurhythmics at a king-fu cello camp. For ten years my job title at one chamber music camp was Dean of Men. The sign on my dressing-room door once read Jamey "Sugar Pants" Lamar. I saw my mom get flipped off by Johnny Cash once, on a ferry to Nova Scotia. Another life motto is, "some time is a lot of time on the moon." For some reason nothing satisfies me more than feeding people. I bike most places if I can and go to the market almost every day. I like meeting new people.

I've got a layover in MAD on Wed., Nov 19 from approximately 2pm until 7pm. If you could get into the city to do ONE thing (I do not wish to press my luck in getting my departing international flight), what would it be? Many thanks! See More
Porto: Douro wine tours in November?
I'll be in Porto from November 20-23, that's a Thursday-Sunday. I'd like to find a nice small group tour (or affordable private tour) going up the Douro River to visit a few wineries and have lunch. I'm imagining a day trip but I would not be opposed to... See More
