About Me

For nearly 20 years, I traveled 40-45 weeks each year, all over the U.S. Owning a marketing/promotion agency meant meeting with clients and employees all over the U.S. (all four coasts and more). So now, it takes a lot to get me out to DFW (my ex-home-away-from-home). But I DO love the cities I love. . . and enjoy sharing what I know and learning more about them from people on Trippy!

The Metropolitan Museum of Art for traditional and Solomon R. Guggenheim Museumfor modern. Have been to both in past couple of months and the collections are really brilliant now!  See More

ANew York City: Safe neighborhood in NYC for Mother-Daughter trip

I lived on Washington Square Southas a grad student attending NYU and have visited the city - on business or pleasure - at least 50 times. I've stayed in just about every single major area - with or without my husband (i.e., alone) and never once... See More

AHawaii: Best Luxury resort in Maui

We have stayed at The Polo Beach Club on Polo Beach Wailea for 20+ years. Each condo is privately owned - selling currently for $2 million+, and there are about 70 units. Each has a full ocean view and sizeable lanai facing the ocean - just... See More

ALaguna Beach: Where to stay and non-surfing things to do in Laguna Beach

I agree with Brew: Montage Laguna Beach might well be the best hotel in the world! We've stayed there twice and would like to move right in!  Check out Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel. In general, you just can't beat a Kimpton... See More

ANew York City: free or cheap things to do in NYC

You can enjoy all the fabulous voices and music on an opera at the Met - without the cost. Ask for a "limited" or "restricted" vision box seat. The sound is excellent, the vision is only restricted because you're on the far left or far right of stage,... See More
