About Me

Don't be fooled by my pic, I'm not a professional musician, but I do write music and play in a band for fun. I actually spend most of my time running operations for Bisnow, the largest digital media company in the commercial real estate space - sort of like a Business Insider meets Buzzfeed meets People magazine for commercial real estate.

I backpacked around the world after college for 6 months and these days only have time to get out of the country once or twice per year, but always do so. My two favorite day adventure techniques when traveling are:

(1) Save a bunch of offbeat places to my google maps and then get lost in the city going to different stars on my google maps without remembering exactly what they are.

(2) Writing down three random things to accomplish in a day, such as "find a local musician playing in a park" or "meet some locals at a rooftop party", and then set about accomplishing those goals. I rarely accomplish more than one before my whole day gets sidetracked by an offshoot adventure caused by trying to accomplish the goal.

New York City: What are the most popular neighborhoods in New York City?

Central is an interesting term in NYC because some people take it to mean midtown, but I take it to mean in the middle of the action that is fun and cool, aka not midtown. If you mean the latter, I would stay anywhere between TriBeCa and Union... See More

Stockholm: Arrive to Stockholm on Friday June 19, the day Midsummer begins...

Should I get out of Stockholm immediately? I'm traveling with a friend, we're both about 30 years old and like to have adventurous fun. We want to go where all the 20-35 year olds will be going for Midsummer. Where would that be? See More

Stockholm: What would a 30-year old, cool, adventurous, intelligent, fun local do?

Please answer this question imagining you live in Stockholm. What are the popular things for locals to do? For instance, if you came to New York, I would tell you: go to Brooklyn Bowl (a bowling alley with great live music) run along the Hudson river and stop at the... See More
