Caterina Pomini

About Me

Hi everybody,

my name is Caterina, I was born in Florence almost 36 years ago and I still live in the Florentine countryside - not far from Chianti - where I share an old farmhouse with my family, cats and dog. I'm in love with my city and basically have the same feeling for the rest of Tuscany, but... I also like to travel of course and I adore England, Portugal, Greece, Canada and those never ending American skies.

I have been learning English for 25 years and that's why I can work as translator, English teacher, copywriter and web editor... I had also a couple of books published (poetry and short stories) but none of them have been translated in English ;-)

What else could I say? Well... I'm working for CiaoFlorence (a Tours&Travels Company) but I would like to make clear that I am here to read and give (honest) travel advice, not to advertise... however, I am a copywriter and sometimes I simply share links (when they make sense).

Sincerely, Caterina Pomini
