Anna-Fee Schuller

Freiburg im Breisgau

About Me

Hi there,

my name is Anna-Fee, I'm 25 years old. I live in and love the south of Germany. Also, I lived in Canterbury for quite some time which is why I feel at home in England as well. I love travelling and in my opinion it's the best way to get to know yourself, to figure out what's important in life, to broaden your horizon and question your daily routine. I travelled a lot so far and there are many more places I wanna see. I like the idea of trippy and I'm happy if I can help others with my travel experiences. And I'm more than grateful about some insider tips for whatever place I'll travel to next. :-)

ANew Zealand: Where to find travel-mates in New Zealand?

You might want to have a look at "Kiwi Experience" and "Stray" which are bus networks offering all kinds of round trips but also experiences and activities. As far as I can remember it works like a hop-on hop-off bus service. Like that you could easily get... See More

QHow do you deal with the travel bug when you can't travel?

I guess the situation is familiar to most of you: You want to travel so badly but you can't because of work, money, family, health, time issues. How do you satisfy your need to see new places and to meet new people, to be in the nature and to escape your daily life? ... See More

ANew Zealand: Best towns in New Zealand for a first timer?

I agree with Agnes.  On the South Island, Queenstown is a popular destination, especially for younger people. It's considered to be the party and adventure capital of New Zealand (bungee jumping, canyoning, skydiving etc.). Also, you could... See More

AGermany: Train transportation for a family in Germany?

Hi, you should check out interrail. They offer country passes you can use with every train you want in a certain country. The price depends on how many travel days you want to book within one month. And children aged 4-11 travel for free.  I once used an interrail pass... See More

AGermany: Good Beer between Freiburg and Dresden?

In Freiburg you should definitely go to Hausbrauerei Feierling GmbH located in the city centre. It's a nice brewery pub with a beautiful beer garden. It's also cool to sit inside next to some shiny brewing coppers. Some Freiburgians mock Feierling... See More

AWhat is the most dramatically beautiful place you have seen?

Tongariro National Park, New Zealand. The colour of the small volcanic lakes is just unreal.   See More

AGermany: Places to see in South Germany ?

I can absolutely recommend Freiburg im Breisgau I'm actually surprised that it's not mentioned more often in this thread. And I don't say that just because I've been living here for 25 years now. ;-) The flood of tourists speak for... See More

ANew Zealand: Aukland or Queenstown?

I've been to both places for 5 days, and I really can't decide where I liked it more. I found that Auckland is not that interesting but there are so many things you can see and do around Auckland, like the volcanic Rangitoto Island,... See More

ANew Zealand: First trip to New Zealand, what can't I miss?

Check out my answer to a previous New Zealand question: See More

ANew Zealand: New Zealand's best kept secrets for a backpacker?

I think it very much depends on the time you go to NZ and also how you behave in NZ as a traveller. I've been there from February to April 2014 and I hardly ever came across a lot of tourists. So here are some things and areas I was lucky to experience with particularly... See More
