Here are some of the most recommended attractions in Carmel By the Sea.
Here's what Trippy members had to say about attractions:
"In California I would recommend the San Diego Zoo, and at least one of the Sequoia tree parks -Yosemite National Park or Sequoia and possibly Monterey Bay Aquarium in addition to Disneyland Then go to Las Vegas From there you can do daytrips Boulder Dam and to Grand Canyon National Park or you can just drive to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas." "I don't know as much about the actual hotels in Carmel, we basically stayed in Monterey to walk around that area easily, then drove the 17 Mile Dr down to Pebble Beach and parked in Carmel By the Sea to walk around and eat at a really great Japanese restaurant (can't remember the name now)." "Hearst Castle, drive Big Sur, stop at Nepenthe and Post Ranch Inn, Visit Carmel By the Sea, Point Lobos Monterey, then into SF for a few days in the city." See More
"Also of course there is Muir Woods National Monument and Point Reyes National Seashore (you could stay in SF or in Marin) and a bit farther south is Point Lobos State Reserve" See More
"There is a neat 17-Mile Drive that takes you along the coast with lots of nice views of the water." See More
