"Cheapest Casino to eat in is in downtown Reno at Club Cal Neva. It's always packed, the restaurant service can be slow, but where else in town can you get prime rib and french fries for 6 bucks? The parking garage is free. Another cheap place to eat fairly good Chinese food is the Pho Cafe Hong Kong Diner south of town in a shopping center across the street from the Atlantis Casino. It's a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant serving on styrofoam containers, but you can get a late meal at 2:00 a.m. and the food is good. Another good place is the Golden Flower, located across the street from the west side entrance of the Circus Circus Hotel Casino. Chinese and Thai food...cheap and good. They stay open until 3:00 a.m. If buffets are what you like, the three intercomnected casinos Circus Circus, the Silver Legacy, and the Eldorado, shy away from the Circus Circus. The hours of operation are terrible.Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Eldorado Resort Casino are okay. For the best quality of food but with a limited selection, the Harrahs Casino had the best quality of food. Even the steaks were tender in that buffet. I found the worse buffet in the area to be at the Nugget in Sparks at the Rotisserie Buffet. Nothing was hot. Only warm and almost tasteless. The service was poor and slow. It's like your being there was an afterthought for the staff to wait on you. I'll admit that It's been a couple of years since we ate there. Maybe they've improved? Once was enough for me."
