Here's what Trippy members say about MGM Grand Detroit:
"The Northwestern suburbs are beautiful and not far from the actual downtown area if you are there on business. There are many scenic roads meandering around lakes of all sizes for boating, fishing or just relaxing. Apple cider, apple picking and donuts at the cider mills. Fantastic restaurants featuring foods from around the globe. Some of the best middle-Eastern food, Polish food, Kosher food, deli and Jewish bakeries are plentiful in and around the city. Great shopping in areas like Birmingham and Royal Oak, where you can walk for blocks or stop for a meal at an outdoor cafe and people watch. Eastern Market downtown, Greektown, even the MGM Grand Detroit. If you have your passport, you are minutes across the Detroit River from Windsor, Ontario Canada. Folks who say negative things about the Detroit area obviously have no clue. There is much more than most people know, and it is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Young people are moving back to some very swanky real estate in the city, and some areas like Midtown have people on waiting list for condos."
